Requirements to begin Huntington City Utilities service:

  • Complete Turn On Form (ALL highlighted areas)
    • WE MUST HAVE A SIGNATURE!
  • Provide a copy of DRIVER’S LICENSE or PHOTO ID
    • A photo can be emailed to the address below if more convenient.
  • $125 consumer deposit for residential accounts with 1” or smaller meters.
  • $200 consumer deposit for commercial/industrial accounts with 2” or larger meters.
    • Deposit can be made by check, cash, and money order in drop box or credit card by phone.

Return information by one of the following:

  • Electronic DocuSign form.
  • Put in Drop Box:

Please allow two- to three-day turnaround period. Once we receive this information we will call you to verify and, if needed, schedule a date and time to turn service on. If we have a scheduled time, someone over the age of 18 with access to the inside of the residence MUST be present for the appointment. If you detect an issue or leak, let the serviceperson know immediately so they can turn water back off before leaving the appointment.



Requirements to discontinue Huntington City Utilities service:

  • Complete Turn Off Form (ALL highlighted areas)
    • WE MUST HAVE A SIGNATURE!
  • Be sure to include a forwarding mailing address where we can send your Final Bill.
    • We bill a month behind so there will be a Final Bill due after service is discontinued.
    • Once your Final Bill is paid, your consumer deposit (if applicable) will be returned to you in the form of a paper check to the mailing address provided.

Requirements to transfer utilities service from an existing Huntington city address to another Huntington city address:

  • Complete both a Turn On Form and a Turn Off Form.
    • At time of transfer, any amount owed on existing account must be paid to a zero balance.
    • An existing consumer deposit can be transferred to a new address if transfer is completed within two weeks.
    • If transfer will take longer than two weeks, an additional deposit may be required.
    • We bill a month behind so there will be a Final Bill due for the existing account after service is discontinued.
