Warming & Cooling Stations
When temperatures reach dangerous highs or lows, Huntington County Emergency Management has the following locations set up as cooling/warming stations in Huntington.
- Salvation Army, 1424 Market St., 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.
- Parkview YMCA, 1160 W 500 N during normal business hours.
- Walmart, 2800 Walmart Drive during normal business hours.
- Indiana Family Care Center Thrift Store, 501 N Jefferson St Wednesday 10am - 4pm, Thursday - Friday 10am - 5pm, Saturday 10am - 4pm.
