Criminal History Checks

The information listed on the Huntington County Sheriff's Office records check only includes verified arrest and booking information in Huntington County and should not be relied upon to determine an individual's actual criminal record. This data will not reflect charging decisions made by the court system or the outcome of any criminal trials.

You may also contact the arresting agency to inquire what information would be public record. The Odyssey system will also provide a broader spectrum of information.

Local/limited criminal history checks can be completed in our office during regular business hours. You must bring a valid ID or driver's license and a $10.00 fee is due at the time of the request (cash or money order only). If you need a more extensive criminal history check completed, you will need to contact the Indiana State Police by visiting their website at www.in.gov/isp/CriminalHistory.htm.
