About This Location
The Hayes-Lemmerz Skate Park is located at 1555 Old US 24 within Yeoman Park.
This facility is not supervised - please use it at your own risk. Protective gear such as helmets, knee pads, elbow pads and closed-toe shoes must be used at all times. Complete rules are posted at the skate park.
The Hayes-Lemmerz Skate Park features:
- Quarter pipes.
- Fun boxes.
- Slide rails.
- Half pyramid with ledge.
- Street spine.
- Wedges.
- Fly box.
- Low box.
- Full pyramid.
Remaking the Skate Park
Huntington Parks & Recreation is working with local skatepark enthusiasts and Hunger Skateparks of Bloomington, Ind., to build a new skate park in the same location. Designs are still being considered for a new park that could double in size from 10,000 square feet now to about 20,000 square feet. Construction is projected to begin in 2026.
