With dry conditions and no measureable rain the the forecast, the Huntington Fire Marshal Dave Teusch has issued an open burning advisory.

The Huntington Fire Department respectfully requests that Huntington residents consider weather conditions before having a recreational fire. Small fires can quickly spread beyond control and lead to property damage and loss.

Open burning is prohibited in the City of Huntington with the exception of recreational campfires no greather than 36 inches in diamter and a fuel load not to exceed two vertical feet.
