Please plan to join the Fun Committee for our annual United Way fundraiser … the ever-popular Soup-Off on Halloween day, Thursday, October 31.

Lunch will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Old Fire Bay at the Huntington City Building, located at 300 Cherry St.

Here is a list of our all-star lineup of all-you-can-eat soups to sample (subject to change):

• Jalapeño Popper Soup
• Cheeseburger Soup
• Taco Soup
• Chicken & Noodle Soup
• Cheesy Tortellini Sausage & Spinach Soup
• Pepper Chili
• Loaded Potato Soup
• Crock Pot Chicken Taco Chili
• Vegetarian Vegetable Soup
• Chicken Tortilla Soup

Baked goods:

• Peanut Butter Gooey Bars
• Autumn Cupcakes
• Pumpkin Patch Brownies
• Mystery Cookies/Bars

For $5, lunch will come with a grilled cheese sandwich. City building employees are baking and donating some amazing desserts that you can purchase for $1 as well!

The Fun Committee has also worked hard to secure donations valued at over $400 from local businesses for a silent auction. You will be able to begin bidding on these next week through the end of the day on Thursday. You may even call in your bids after the luncheon up until 4 p.m. by calling (260) 356-1400 ext. 2004.
