A group of 13 Huntington North juniors was sworn in on Tuesday evening to serve as members of a City youth advisory council.

Known as “That Viking Thing,” the council’s objective is to increase civic engagement among Huntington North Viking students, teach them about local government and train the next generation of leaders.

Officers selected for the program’s second year are President Emma Working, Vice President Hannah Augspurger and Secretary Emma Alford.
