Applicants Sought for Huntington County Planning Commission

Huntington County residents are encouraged to apply for an opening on the Huntington County Planning Commission.  This position is subject to political party balance, therefore, the applicant must be a Democrat or Independent.  The applicant must not hold any other elected or appointed office. He or she must be a resident of Huntington County, but not live within the City of Huntington or any of the small towns. 

The application form may be downloaded here. Those interested should complete and return it to the Commissioners’ Office by mail or in person to 201 N. Jefferson St. Completed applications also may be emailed to commissioners@huntington.in.us.
